Sidsel had been making records since the early 80’s but this is her first ECM album. The music has an original sound, kind of free in form yet very melodic and beautiful and Sidsel tonal timbre is unique and her delivery of lines also and she has great players with her on this one. This is the first album of hers that I’ve heard and I really liked this one. Beautiful, original and slightly introverted but ultimately a very enjoyable modern chamber Jazz.
